Our Audiophile sound cabinets feature a unique “tuck-a-way” mounting design that won’t compromise storage compartment space. Plus, the “toe-in” angled cabinet placement creates an optimum sound direction in your Corvette. Unlike typical speaker placement, our cabinets, with their angled design, create a “sweet spot” in the front center of your car. The sweet spot provides a spectacular enhancement in sound for your listening pleasure.
For 1968-72 Corvette models (Non-Convertible):
1968-72 Corvettes included a removable rear window that could be stored on a tray in the compartment area of the vehicle. Most often, the owner has removed the tray due to deterioration, lack of use, annoying air buffeting, or to enhance compartment space. The tray is easily removed and can be stored by removing two hinge bolts on either side of the tray.
Each speaker kit is individually handcrafted in the USA with premium acoustical materials and speaker covering and pre-drilled ready for 6x9 speakers. We include all hardware and instructions. Use your existing stereo if you like; the efficiency of our system does not require an additional amplifier, and the kit installs in just minutes.
